Tinariwen – POSTPONED

Dear Tinariwen friends and fans,

We appreciate your patience in waiting for an update regarding the postponed Canadian tour.

As many of you know, the tour was postponed after a devastating fire at the home of a member of Tinariwen’s team destroyed the passports, visas, and other essential travel documents belonging to several members of the touring party. What was already an incredibly difficult situation has continued to take time to resolve, and unfortunately, we are not yet in a position to announce new Canadian tour dates.

We know how disappointing this is — particularly for those of you who made plans, travelled, arranged time off, and were looking forward to seeing this legendary artist perform. What we can say is that we continue to work with band and their team toward rescheduling this tour as soon as possible. We must also allow them time to process and deal with this extremely unfortunate event.

If you are able to hold onto your ticket, we would be incredibly grateful for your patience and support. Your ticket will remain valid for the rescheduled performance in your city, once the new dates are confirmed. Your continued support means a great deal — especially at a moment when circumstances entirely beyond anyones control have made an already challenging situation even more difficult.

At the same time, we completely understand that circumstances change. If you are unable to wait for the rescheduled dates, refunds will be available upon request. Please reach out to the ticketing provider, or ticketing@modo-live.com for processing.

We are hopeful that we will be able to share new dates with you soon. Until then, thank you for your extraordinary patience, understanding, and support of Tinariwen and MODO LIVE. We hope you’ll stay with us and that, when the time finally comes, we can welcome you to what will undoubtedly be a very special return to Canada.

With gratitude,

Modo Live & Tinariwen
